Ontario Lacrosse Announces 2025 “A” Qualifiers Division Formats
The Ontario Lacrosse Association (OLA, @ontariolacrosse) is excited to announce the competition format for the U13, U15, and U17 “A” Qualifiers. Played across two weekends in July and culminating with the Final Six Provincial Championships in August, the “A” Qualifiers will welcome the top teams in each division, as determined by MyLAX Rankings.
The top thirteen (13) teams in the U13 and U15 divisions, and the top eleven (11) teams in the U17 division will advance to the “A” Qualifiers. These teams will compete in a full round robin format across two weekends:
1st Weekend: July 18–20 at Iroquois Park Sports Complex in Whitby
2nd Weekend: July 25–27 at Seymour-Hannah Sports and Entertainment Centre in St. Catharines
Following the round robin, the top six teams in each division will advance to the “A” Provincial Championships, taking place August 7–9 during the Ontario Lacrosse Festival. These division formats are designed to ensure the highest level of competition, informed by MyLAX Rankings and the number of teams participating in each age group.
Following the successful debut of livestreaming in 2024, all “A” Qualifier and Final Six games will once again be streamed live on the Ontario Lacrosse YouTube channel, allowing fans across the globe to tune in. In addition, each event will be activated as an Event Beacon in SportsRecruits, providing NCAA scouts with access to verified rosters, athlete profiles, and full game replays.
Teams who qualify will be notified via their Association President on July 8, 2025. Full schedules and event details will be posted at olafinalsix.com. Stay connected with the game!
